The Saskatoon SPCA Dog Jog & Stroll is a fun walk/run – with your dog – to raise money for important animal care at the SPCA

Event details:

Date – Saturday, September 7
Time – 10 a.m.
Location – Diefenbaker Park, Saskatoon
Registration limit – 500 dogs
Swag – Each dog owner will receive a pair of stainless steel food/water dishes for their dog after they cross the finish line together on September 7th! (One set of stainless steel food/water dishes per registered owner.)
Event guidelines:

  1. All dogs must be on leash
  2. All dogs that reside in Saskatoon must have an active licence
  3. We strongly encourage your dog to be current with vaccinations.

How do I register?
Registration is now open. Click the button at the bottom of the page. The current early-bird registration is $50 (plus tax and fee) with ALL net proceeds donated to the Saskatoon SPCA.

Can I fundraise to donate more?
Yes, after you register you can fundraise to donate more to the Saskatoon SPCA. Within the registration portal you will see the option for donations. Any donation (from family and friends) over $25 receives a charitable tax receipt through email.

How will the SPCA use the net proceeds?
Funds raised will be used for important animal care at the Saskatoon SPCA. This includes providing shelter, food, vaccinations, health assessments and spay/neuter surgeries to prepare animals for adoption.

What is the course? How long is the course?
The course is within Diefenbaker Park in Saskatoon. It is a 1KM loop, which you can walk or jog once – or twice. It is not a competitive event. It is a fun event with your dog! We will have music and an entertaining start/finish line area.

Where do I park on event day?
Parking is free along Ruth Street and St. Henry Avenue. There is also free parking in the gravel lot at the south end of St. Henry Avenue. There is no parking access at Prairieland Park.

How do I get my swag?
As soon as you cross the finish line on September 7th, you will receive your pair of stainless steel food/water dishes in Diefenbaker Park.
