The maps for this year’s Step Up for Mental Health run/walk – presented by Cameco – have been released.
For the half-marathon on Saturday, September 20th, it’s an out-and-back course along the river.
The start/finish line is at the intersection of Spadina Cres/23rd Street in downtown Saskatoon, with the turnaround just before the Chief Mistawasis Bridge on the Meewasin Trail.
The majority of the course is on Spadina Cres/Whiteswan Drive, but there is a portion on the beautiful paved Meewasin Trail.
Runners will pass eight water/aid stations through the 21.1KM distance, with music stations throughout.

The 5KM course on Sunday, September 21st features a new start line and the regular finish line along the river. Runners/walkers will start at the intersection of 22nd Street and 4th Avenue and head north until turning right on 24th Street to go under the University Bridge. The route then follows Spadina Cres before turning around just north of the Train Bridge and heading to the finish line at Spadina Cres/23rd Street.

The 10KM route (Sept. 21) also begins at the new start line on 4th Avenue/22nd Street before heading north on Spadina Cres. Participants will turn-around past the intersection of Spadina Cres/Ravine Drive and proceed to the usual finish line at Spadina Cres/23rd Street.

Bag check for all races will be at the finish line village (noted on the map). Bike valet will also be available at no cost on Spadina Cres just south of the 23rd Street intersection.
Spectators are encouraged to line the streets at the start and finish line. Parking for participants and spectators will be available on streets throughout downtown. Please note that while street parking is free throughout downtown Saskatoon on Sundays, there will be some areas on Saturday that will require a small parking fee after 9 a.m.
